The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Colorado Chapter is proud to announce that Justice Maria Berkenkotter of the Colorado Court of Appeals will deliver the keynote address at our 2026 Annual Meeting, to be held September 12-13 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.
Justice Berkenkotter, widely recognized for her influential opinions in family law and her commitment to access to justice initiatives, will speak on "Family Law in the Digital Age: Privacy, AI, and the Evolution of Domestic Relations Practice."

The two-day conference will feature over 15 CLE-accredited sessions covering topics including artificial intelligence in family law practice, cryptocurrency and digital assets in property division, social media evidence and discovery, modernizing parenting plan provisions for remote work families, and updated approaches to maintenance calculations.

Beyond the educational programming, the annual meeting offers invaluable networking opportunities. Registration Information
Early bird registration opens April 1, 2026, with discounted rates available through June 30. AAML Fellows receive priority registration and a significant discount on conference fees. Non-member attorneys are welcome to attend at the standard registration rate.
The Broadmoor has reserved a block of rooms at a special conference rate. We encourage attendees to book early, as room blocks typically sell out well in advance of the conference date.
Continuing Legal Education Credits
The 2026 Annual Meeting is approved for up to 12.5 CLE credits, including 2.0 ethics credits. All sessions have been designed to provide practical, immediately applicable knowledge that attendees can implement in their practices.
